Latest Airline Travel Waivers Before Northeast Winter Storm

Snow has started in the Midwest, but the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic could see a lot of rain or snow. From Maine to North Carolina, the NWS issued winter storm watches along I-95.

Travel could be impacted from New York to Boston to Washington to Philadelphia to Baltimore, and airlines have been proactive ahead of the storm.

American Airlines is taking no chances. The carrier has already issued waivers for those traveling on Saturday and Sunday

Airline waivers let you change your flight without penalty, but there is usually a deadline and you must fly into and out of the airport where you booked your ticket.

JetBlue waived at Albany, Boston, Buffalo, Hartford, Newark, JFK, LGA, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rochester, Syracuse, Westchester County, and Worcester.

United Airlines waives travel on January 6 and 7 for Allentown, Albany, Hartford, Boston, Burlington, New York/Newark, Manchester, Philadelphia, Providence, and Portland.

Southwest has waiver takeoffs and destinations in Albany, Baltimore, Boston, Hartford, Long Island/Islip, NY (ISP), Manchester, New York (LaGuardia) and few more.

Delta Air Lines canceled flights in Albany, Allentown, Baltimore, Bangor, Binghamton, Boston, Charleston (CRW), Charlottesville (CHO), Harrisburg, Hartford, New York Kennedy and few more.
